The new owners of the Randolph Hotel in Oxford have given another glimpse of what it could look like inside once it reopens.
Chicago-based chain Graduate Hotels has bought the Randolph and it is currently being refurbished before its reopening in the summer.
The chain which bought the Beaumont Street hotel in 2019, closed the hotel on October 17 and made 75 of the 84 staff redundant in order to carry out a massive renovation inside the Grade II-listed building.

At first it was thought the hotel’s name would become the Graduate Oxford but the new owners have since confirmed that the Randolph’s name will be allowed to remain.
When it reopens it will be called the Randolph Hotel, part of the Graduate Hotels collection.
In the latest artist’s impression released by the hotel chain, showing the lobby, the Graduate title can be clearly seen on the front desk.
A spokeswoman for the chain said earlier: “We can confirm that the hotel will be opening in June.”
She added: “Graduate Hotels debuts first European properties in Cambridge and Oxford, Spring 2021.
