POLICE have warned ‘we can’t be everywhere but we could be anywhere’ following a safety exercise this morning.
The Thames Valley Police roads policing team shared the message after colleagues from Hampshire were involved in the cycling safety operation in Oxford.
The Hampshire team tweeted: “Early start for a ‘Close Pass’ operation in Oxford today.
“Giving cyclists safe space is not optional.
“Patience and respect for each other as road users is key at all times.
“For the sake of a few seconds, it can be the difference.”
