A four-storey flexible workspace is due to open in Oxford’s Queen Street late next year.
It will cater for the increasing number of businesses rejecting traditional offices and allowing hybrid working as a result of the pandemic.
The building, developed by workspace provider Fora, will provide open desks, private offices, meeting rooms and wellness amenities.
It will be an entire building with retail on the ground floor.
Fora said it was meeting a demand for more vibrant, connected and community-minded workspaces.

Co-founder and CEO Enrico Sanna said: “We have always considered Oxford as a tremendous opportunity for Fora given the city’s fantastic graduate pool and growing technology and life science sectors.
“We are thrilled to share the news that Fora will be coming to Oxford next year, as the market share for flexible office space continues to grow, with the CBRE [an American commercial real estate services and investment firm] confirming that nearly three-quarters of businesses are now considering flexible working as a result of the pandemic and a shift in working behaviours.”
The firm chose Queen Street because it is part of the city's retail centre and is situated within walking distance of Oxford station, with its regular rail services to London Paddington and London Marylebone.

Fora was founded in London’s Old Street in 2015 and has expanded across the capital, Cambridge and Reading, with plans to spread further in the UK and Europe in the coming years.
