Blenheim is inviting grant applications for its 2021 bursary scheme from local projects and charities that focus their work on bringing people together in the local community.

The £50,000 bursary is available to all charities based within a 20-mile radius and it encourages initiatives which are focussed in six main areas; wellbeing and outdoor activities, education, creation of green spaces, social prescribing in the community, collaborative communal projects and community infrastructure support.

Among the groups to receive funds in 2020, which ranged from £500 to £5,000, were FarmAbility, Oxfordshire Youth, Stonesfield Allotments, Sustainable Woodstock, Forrest Bathing and West Witney Primary School.

Applications for the 2021 Blenheim Bursary will close on May 14. Finalists will be contacted by June 18 and interviews for applications over £5,000 take place in the week commencing June 21. All bursaries to be confirmed by March 1.
