THe cycle path project first secured a government funding commitment in the early 2000s
A NEW cycleway is set open this spring.
The cycle paths will open on Wantage Road in Didcot, and will run from Foxhall Roundabout to the hospital, and onto Slade Road and Holly Lane.
The cycleways - which will be maintained by the county council - will be on both sides of the road, which hasn't been seen before in Didcot.
Didcot Town Council has released an explainer on their website on how to use the cycle paths. It includes guidance on parking rules, bus lanes and reiterates that cyclists should follow the highway code.
