ONE person has been arrested following an incident of hare coursing in Oxfordshire, Thames Valley Police revealed.

Officers seized a vehicle in West Berkshire yesterday following reports of the illegal activity in Wantage on Sunday.

The occupant was arrested, charged with driving offences and issued a fine for breach of Covid-19 legislation during the third national lockdown.

The arrest follows a warning to Oxfordshire residents about hare coursers taking advantage of lockdown.
