A MAN has been jailed after ‘repeatedly hitting’ a ‘vulnerable’ pensioner.
Karl Doman, of Lytton Road, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 4.
The 36-year-old admitted actual bodily harm (ABH) and using violence to get into a property on Old Farm Close, Abingdon, on March 16.
He was sent to prison for 16 weeks.
In the court documents, it said the offence was 'so serious' and had been a 'repeated attack on a vulnerable 80-year-old with a heart condition who he hit more than once'.
Doman was also made subject to a restraining order and has been banned from contacting the victim until next year.
He must also pay a victim surcharge fee of £122 and court costs of £125.
