MINI develops concepts for electric John Cooper Works models.
Mini has started to develop concepts for a new electric car.
The company, which has its plant in Cowley, has already made several electric vehicles.

The manufacturer has already made the Mini Countryman plug-in hybrid model and Mini Electric which it said have had successful sales.
Based on this experience and looking to future technology, the firm has now said it is now developing electric versions of its John Cooper Works Mini.
