A SCHOOL has launched a campaign to raise money for equipment when students are unable to attend because of Covid-19.
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at St Michael’s CE Primary School in Marston has been selling maps for a winter trail of homes which will be displaying festive lights until December 12.
Money raised will allow the school to buy Chromebooks that can then be loaned to students who might be self-isolating.

Georgina Bygott, chair of the PTA at the school, said: “We only have one set of 30 Chromebooks for students across the whole school, which means that only one class can have computing lessons at a time.
“Since September, the school has also loaned Chromebooks to families who have had to self-isolate, to make sure that students can still join class remotely and continue to learn from home.”
