POLICE are still trying to find a man who ‘seriously assaulted’ a police officer before running away in handcuffs.

Yesterday evening, Cherwell Police said he had made off after being arrested on Evans Street, Chipping Norton.

He had made a getaway for freedom by running down a hill on Hayley Road with his hands tied together.
