EUROPHILES gathered in an Oxford park to celebrate the EU.
Campaigners, including councillor John Tanner, enjoyed a picnic for Europe in Florence Park on Sunday.
Mr Tanner, who represents Littlemore on the city council, said: “With Britain heading for a very damaging no-deal Brexit we wanted to enjoy good European food, drink and sunshine together.

“Trade chaos on top of Covid-19 is the last thing Oxford’s car factory, universities and tourism need.”
The UK voted to leave the EU in June 2016 and officially stopped being a member of the European Union on January 31 this year.
Negotiations are currently ongoing though about the future relationship between the 27 member countries and the UK, with a 11-month transition period due to end in December.
