FOUR students have worked remotely to write a charity e-book to help pupils self-study.

Peter Wallich pulled together fellow Oxford University students with Learn Better At Home now downloaded over 1,000 times.

He said: “There’s huge problems with education inequality with those who might not have a stable background.

“I roped in friends who had self-studied at school and university and then it took six weeks to write, to make it a high-quality resource.

“Self-study is a really valuable skill and there’s a huge opportunity for teachers, students and parents to learn about these skills.

“Hopefully this will be useful in years to come and not just for now.”

The e-book will also help some of the poorest people in the world with the option to donate to GiveDirectly.
