AS STUDENTS nervously await their A-level results next week, Oxford Brookes will be offering more support than ever before.
The university will have 150 staff volunteers ready to help with clearing, the process when universities and colleges fill any places they still have on their courses.
Volunteers will work from home to help applicants make decisions that will shape their whole future.

Students can post queries to academics via the website, chat online to a current Oxford Brookes student, and ask admissions staff for help with applying to the university.
The university will be offering a taster of what it’s like at Oxford Brookes, when it will run virtual events next Wednesday and Thursday, including webinars, campus tours and question and answer sessions.
Prospective students can also book a one-to-one chat with an academic to find out more.
