A BURST pipe is causing water problems for residents in a south Oxfordshire village.
The leak on the A417 Reading Road in East Hendred, near Wantage, was reported this morning, with photos on social media showing water building up on the side of the carriageway.
Thames Water is sending three tankers to keep customers in supply while it fixes the burst, following complaints of low pressure and even no water at all.
The company has not confirmed when it expects to complete the repairs.

Thames Water said in a statement: “We’re sorry to anyone who may have been experiencing low pressure or water outages, which is due to a burst on a 6-inch diameter pipe.
“We know this has happened at an especially difficult time and understand the concerns our customers may have.
"Our engineers are doing everything they can to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
“We have one tanker on site and two more en route to keep customers in supply while we fix the burst and we’ve delivered bottled water to customers in the area who have pre-registered with us as having special requirements, such as being medically reliant on water.”
