A 'TIRED' building on an Oxford industrial estate could be replaced by a two-storey office complex.
Plans have been submitted to redevelop land at the Little Mead Business Estate in Osney Mead, off Botley Road.
The site has most recently been used as an overflow area to park rental cars, but could be transformed into an L-shaped open plan office with meeting rooms.
The planning statement by The John Phillips Planning Consultancy says: "Existing buildings on the site are sub-standard and do not realise the full potential of the site.

"The proposal would redevelop the land and result in an enlarged building with high quality office floorspace to meet identified needs for modern office accommodation within the city."
The scheme is a revised version of similar plans for the site, which the planning statement calls "impractical and too expensive" in its current form.
Although the new plans would add a storey to the building, the statement insists this 'would not be at odds with the predominant character of the area'.
Space for eight cars and bicycle parking is also proposed to the side of the building.
