Police are reappealing for help to find a missing woman from Abingdon after a new sighting.

Ruth Pockett, aged 61, was last seen at around 2pm on Monday (29/6) in College Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

She had previously last been seen at her home on Saturday.

She is white, around 5ft tall, of slim build and has grey/blonde shoulder length hair. Ruth also wears glasses.

Further enquiries by officers have indicated that she could be in the Cheltenham area in the vicinity of Pittville Gates.

Police have released a new picture of Ms Pockett, in the hope that someone will recognise her.
