A THIRD Liberal Democrat MP has backed Layla Moran in her bid to become party leader.
Wendy Chamberlain - who sits for North East Fife - became the latest to support the Oxford West and Abingdon MP today.
It follows public backing from MPs Jamie Stone and Wera Hobhouse.

Speaking of her support for the leadership bid she said: "Layla has shown to me that she has the skills, drive and leadership to deliver change to the party and the wider country.
“Covid-19 and Brexit have shown how much the UK needs a strong liberal voice.
"The Liberal Democrats, with Layla as our leader, are that voice."
Voting for party members starts July 30 and the winner is expected to be declared August 27.
