Happiness was the theme for this week’s Camera Club competition and fantastic snaps of laughter, llamas pulling silly faces and beautiful landscapes were among our entries.

Becca Collacott captured her daughter Freya and her boyfriend Alex’s faces full of happiness.

Another picture that is full of laughter and happiness is Mark Guschtscha’s snap of his dog thrilled to be out on a walk.

Louise Hook got her little people out again for a photo and this week they were hard at work making a smiley face masterpiece.

For Sarah Wade, happiness is her cat Tigga: she sent in a snap of this moggie stretched out on the bed and thoroughly enjoying life.

One more picture sent in by Becca Collacott for the theme happiness is a snap of a cheeky-looking llama.

Jim Jutton sent in a photo of the hanging heads exhibit at the Kelvingrove museum in Glasgow taken in 2014.

Maxine Grout seems to be missing holidays as she sent in a picture of a beach in Mauritius.

Gordon Craig has also been reminiscing about the time before coronavirus, with his picture of fun at Witney carnival.

For Melissa Standbridge happiness is her Mini, but for many other Camera Club members happiness is simply the achievement of taking a difficult snap!

Andrew Holt sent in a picture of a rattle snake and said it was the first he had ever captured in the wild.

Ian Marriot captured the orange glow of a sunrise over Oxford and Sarah Mason sent in her picture of a ladybird shading under a forget-me-not on a hot summer’s day.

Christine Crook is impressed with her picturesque sunset and June and Peter Turnbull was happy with his pretty butterfly snap.

Gordon Craig sent in a picture of a beaver really enjoying its celery snack and he captioned it: “Happiness is a stick of celery.”

This week’s Oxford Mail Camera Club winner will be announced in tomorrow’s paper.
