A WOMAN has died in hospital after a major police incident in Oxford yesterday.
More than five police cars, three ambulances and an air ambulance swarmed on an address on Thomson Terrace, Littlemore, at 2.25pm on Friday.
South Central Ambulance Service were responding to a 'medical episode' involving a 38-year-old woman, and raised the alarm to police.
That woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in a critical condition but died this morning.

Thames Valley Police said the woman's death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
In a statement the force said: "Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this difficult time."
Officers have also arrested a 58-year-old man who has not been identified and is from Oxford.
He was arrested for unrelated 'drugs related offences.'
The man has since been released on police bail until June 30.
At the time neighbours described dramatic scenes, with one claiming she saw paramedics in white overalls rush to the scene where she said they 'performed CPR on an unconscious woman for more than an hour.'
She said the woman was then put on a stretcher and added 'it looked like the air ambulance crew performed a surgery on her while on the street'.
The area was cordoned off during the incident and access was restricted.
