NEW double yellow lines will be painted onto streets around Oxford to prevent drivers parking there.
Seven streets around the city will be given a lick of paint to prevent anyone from parking or waiting at any time.
While some of the restrictions are for small patches of the street, others will be restricted along their entire length.
The streets affected are: Sher Afzal Close (the entire length of the road), and parts of Kirby Road and Do Bosco Close in Temple Cowley; part of the Oval and Desborough Crescent in Rose Hill; part of Warren Avenue in Headington and at a layby on Sunderland Avenue near the Cutteslowe roundabout.
