IF you're looking for a space at an Oxford car park, there's a big one right here.
A digital display unit, which normally shows the number of free spaces, has vanished from this sign at the entrance to Worcester Street open-air car park in the centre of town.
Oxford City Council has now said the unit was not stolen, but is getting some essential fine tuning.
Spokesman Tony Ecclestone reassured the Oxford Mail: "It’s just undergoing maintenance. It’ll be back soon."
Not that it is being missed – the car park was completely empty this afternoon, and unlikely to see much custom anytime soon.
