AS more students than ever before are giving up meat products the University of Oxford joined the 'vegan revolution'.
The animal rights group PETA selected 31 'most vegan friendly' universities based on the availability of plant-based food options on campus and their initiatives to promote vegan eating, and the University of Oxford earned a spot on the list.

Most of its cafés are 50 per cent meat-free, and nearly 70 per cent of hospitality food options are vegan or vegetarian.
PETA director Elisa Allen commended the administration for their efforts.
