PEOPLE are being encouraged to use the extra February day this leap year to get a free health ‘MOT’.
Fusion Lifestyle will offer the tests at Tesco Cowley Road on Saturday, as well as offering free day passes to its leisure centres across Oxford.
The health MOTs will be available from 11am to 2pm, giving residents the chance to check in on their BMI, height, weight and blood pressure before being given a one-day pass to the Oxford centre of their choice.

Fusion will open the doors at Leys Pools and Leisure Centre, Barton Leisure Centre, Oxford Spires Sport & Fitness, Ferry Leisure Centre and Oxford Ice Rink.
Shah Ahmed, customer relations manager, said: “We’re really excited to both take our team to meet shoppers at Tesco Cowley Road.
"A leap year may only happen every four years but we’re hoping that this initiative might inspire Oxford residents to enjoy a healthy lifestyle every day of the year.”
