A PIECE of life-saving equipment has been installed at the Oxford Bus Company travel shop in Gloucester Green.
Dave England, community engagement and training officer for South Central Ambulance Service and part-time Oxford City Sightseeing bus driver was behind the scheme.

He said: “For every minute that passes the chance of survival decreases by 10 per cent without good CPR and defibrillation. So, this early access and intervention will help to save lives.”
Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company managing director added: “It’s a vitally important piece of equipment that saves lives in critical situations and we’re proud to be able to host it in our travel shop.”
He said staff at the travel shop had all undergone training to use the defibrillator.
