CITY’S goalless draw following a 434-mile round trip to Colchester last night produced a mixed reaction from the Bantams supporters.

Some saw it as what could be a vital point gained against a play-off rival, while others were more negative about the continuation of a stuttering run in January.

Some fans have even resigned themselves to the play-offs, despite four months left of the regular season.

This point in Essex sees City remain fifth, two points adrift of the top three, while Colchester are seventh.

City now get ready for a shorter away day at Mansfield Town on Saturday.

Here is a selection of City fans’ tweets following last night’s match:

Jake Bastow tweeted: “Good point tonight and can't argue with the formation IMO. Should have won it really.”

Paul Jackson tweeted: “From someone who was at the game, that was decent tonight. A good solid away point against a good side. No complaints from me. Really gave it a go.”

Ian Hemmens tweeted: “We seem a better side with Harry Pritchard in the team. Hopefully his injury problems are behind him. Could be a vital player coming towards the run-in.”

Mark Young wrote: “Looked a little more positive once Pritchard came on, but why'd it take 75+ mins to start pressing and attacking with a little purpose.”

Andy F (@afirth18) tweeted: “Happy with a point away to a club that's lost only 5 all season!”

Chris Willman tweeted: “We drew 0-0, says it all. Not good enough to go up.”

Gavin Benecke: “Just wish Bowyer would take the leash of this team as we would score loads of goals and probably be top of the league.”

John Dev posted: “#bcafc point at the mighty Colchester.. Onwards an Upwards .. Bratfud Army.”

Labeeb Aslam tweeted: “Watched #bcafc game vs #cufc. Can’t help feeling that this season is just going to fizzle out like it under McCall when we just slid into mid table. Early season promise is lost, no momentum,  can’t win for toffee, falling further behind. Hope I’m wrong.”

allan furness wrote: #bcafc city in fifth place, we're off to wemberley again I can feel it..”

Mark Douglas, replying to another fans’ tweet, wrote: “I just try not to tweet during matches when it comes to #bcafc. People get too angry.”
