A PAEDOPHILE who was caught with 1,000 indecent images of children has been sent to Oxford Crown Court to be sentenced.

Jake Mohan-Triggle was allegedly caught with 56 banned images of children in category A - the highest category, as well as 684 category B images and 260 Category C images. The 30-year-old of Warren Hill, Stadhampton, was also charged with making an extreme pornographic image of a dog.

Category A images show penetrative sexual activity while Category B images involve other sexual activity and Category C show 'suggestive' content like nude photos.

He was sent to Crown Court to be sentenced, after indicating a guilty plea.

His first appearance at Magistrates' Court was on January 14 – where the court decided that the charges were so serious they needed to be dealt with at a higher court.

He was let go on unconditional bail for a date to be fixed.
