A PERVERT has admitted at court to viewing hundreds of indecent images of children - and one showing a sex act between two different animals.

A defence barrister said today that Laszlo Simon had 'stumbled into' the offending and of making the banned images.

Simon appeared at Oxford Crown Court facing three counts of making indecent images of children as well as one further count of having an extreme pornographic image.

The 48-year-old of Tew Road, Enstone, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to all four counts at that hearing.

He admitted making 94 indecent images of children in category A - which is the highest category in terms of the severity of the offence.

He also admitted having 125 indecent images in category B as well as 278 indecent images in category C.

The total haul of images was tallied at 497.

A further count of possessing extreme pornography was also admitted which 'portrayed in an explicit and realistic way' a sex act which involved a dog and a horse.

After the pleas to all of the counts had been entered his defence barrister Martin Lewis asked for a report from the National Probation Service.

He said that his client had no other previous convictions.

He added: "The argument is going to be whether or not the sentence can be suspended.

"He is a man of previous good character and to some extent he appears to have stumbled into this sort of offending."

Presiding Judge Maria Lamb agreed to adjourn the case for a later sentencing hearing.

Before adjourning the case she said: "These are offences which attract an immediate sentence of prison."

The final sentencing hearing for the case will be held at Oxford Crown Court on February 6.
