FIREFIGHTERS had to free a trapped car which had become wedged on top of a traffic island.
The incident happened on Friday night at Thame's High Street.
One vehicle had become lodged on top of a traffic island and diesel was leaking from a damaged fuel system.
Thames Valley Police shut the road and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended to help free the vehicle.
'Red Watch' from Slade Road Fire Station used specialist equipment to free the car and stop the fuel leak.
