THE new managers of a city centre pub will hold a pop-up event there today ahead of the main opening next year.
Staff from Tap Social Movement brewery in Botley are putting on a Christmas Market at the White House pub on Abingdon Road from midday to 6pm.
The team have promised beers on tap, mulled drinks, street food, local vendors and live music.
The craft brewery announced in November it had taken on the lease for the White House, owned by Brasenose College, and is now planning to open in spring 2020.

The pub, which is also a Grade II-listed building, closed in September, but is now undergoing renovations to accommodate the new tenants.
Alongside their award-winning beers, the Tap Social team are also planning to open their first kitchen at the White House.
They have enlisted the help of Heather O’Connor, a culinary school graduate from Toronto, Canada, who will be training the new kitchen staff.
