WHAT could be sweeter and more Christmas-spirited than a mince pie?
How about a mince pie that is raising money for a great cause?
That is the sweet treat which will be on offer at estate agents and other businesses across Oxford on Monday, December 16.
In its latest fundraising foray, Headington's Sobell House hospice is asking offices across the city to bake and flog the Yuletide pies to raise money for its services.
The name of the scheme is as simple as the idea: Mince Pie Monday.

Tim Wraith from Sobell House said: "It gives people a great opportunity to have fun, be a bit daft and support Sobell House this Christmas.
"We are asking supporters to get everyone together at work, school, community centres, pubs, home or wherever and have a foodie festive event for Sobell House.
"We will provide a fundraising pack which includes a poster to advertise your event, a thank you poster for afterwards, balloons and a few other things to ensure you have a fantastic time."
