A KILLER vandal has slaughtered two sheep in a field near Bicester.

Thames Valley Police has today released a witness appeal after the livestock died, at some point between midnight on November 8 and 3pm on November 9.

Police said an unidentified person or people 'gained access to a remote field and slaughtered two sheep'.

Officers did not go into further detail about how the animals died.

The killing, which is being treated as criminal damage, happened at Brill Road in Ludgershall, just across the county border in Buckinghamshire.

In February, an alpaca named Ed Sheeran died after its eye was cut from its socket in Ludgershall.

The attack was branded 'sickening' and 'barbaric'. 

In November an alpaca in Piddington Road in Ludgershall was found slashed and mutilated, with its guts pulled out from its body.

Police have not yet confirmed if the incidents happened at the same farm or if the attacks are being linked.

The force has been approached for comment.
