A HOTEL that is currently under construction in Oxford has received reports of a gas leak at the site.
The 180-bedroom easyHotel is being built in Banbury Road, Summertown.
Yesterday, there were reports of a smell of gas at the site and that some businesses had to close as a result.

The hotel says the smell is not gas-related.
A spokesperson from easyHotel said: "During our works to build the hotel we have been notified of complaints to the gas board of odours resembling gas emanating from the site.
"We have strict precautions in place to monitor activities including a permanent on site representative from our Environmental company.
"Following the complaints we have conducted an investigation into the odours and agreed that the odours emanating from site activities are not related to the gas infrastructure in Banbury Road."
