AN ESCAPED prisoner who went on the run has been arrested by police.
The 36-year-old did not return to Springhill prison after being let out on day release.
He was meant to return on Sunday night, but he did not - so the police appealed for the public's help to find him.
Thames Valley Police warned the public not to approach him, but instead call 999 if they spot him.

Springhill prison, in Buckinghamshire, is a category D prison - which means some criminals can be released for the day as part of rehabilitation programmes.
This morning the 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of absconding from lawful custody and is being held in Reading where police will question him.
