TRAFFIC is heavy this evening approaching Headington Hill following reports of an accident.
The Oxford Mail traffic report says there is 'slow traffic on Headington Road and London Road outbound from the centre of Oxford to A4142 Headington Roundabout. Travel time is six minutes.'
The slow queues are not related to plans by a group of Extinction Rebellion protesters to carry out a cycle ride at rush hour.

One witness told the Oxford Mail there was an ambulance on the scene at St Clements Street, approaching Headington Hill.
They said: "Paramedics treating a patient laying on the ground. Traffic partially blocked on the traffic circle."
They added driving time was an extra 10 minutes.
Another witness at the scene said: "It’s queuing up Headington Hill and pretty much bumper to bumper on Cowley Road and also Morrell Avenue."
Both said the emergency services were at the scene.
