A HOUSE which sits on the same street as social housing block Farndon Court and created quite a buzz after featuring in The Sunday Times' pick of the hottest UK properties is still on the market.

Summerton Villa went up for sale earlier this year for £10 million, making it Oxford's most expensive home.

The listing was temporarilty taken down after it featured in the Sunday Times to allow to owners to get some more photographs.

But six months on, it's still on the market with Knight Frank - and has been reduced to a bargain sum of £8.75 million.

Screened by the high boundary brick walls, white pillars and big wooden fences, the 1830s six bedroom house is hidden within two park-like gardens and in walking distance of the city centre.
