SIX OPTICIANS will walk backwards along a vertical wall while dangling 100ft in the air to raise some cash for a children's cancer ward.
On Saturday, the team will take on the challenging abseil down the side of the John Radcliffe Hospital, in a bid to make some money for the hospital's Kamran's Ward.
The ward looks after children and young people with cancer and blood disorders.
It is one of 20 in the UK which specialises in the treatment after diagnosis.

The team hope to make about £250 each and have set up a Just Giving page to help get there. It says: "The money raised will go to Kamran's Ward where Fenton (an 8-year-old family friend) is being looked after. He was diagnosed with leukaemia in May. The ward have been brilliant in supporting Fenton and his family. Any donation is much appreciated."
One of the six members, Andrew Threlfall, said: "The team and I are nervous but excited. Kamran's Ward looks after children and young people with cancer, so we're hoping to raise as much money as possible.
"We'll also be wearing T-shirts during our descent to show our support."
Visitors can watch the abseil, which will take about 30 minutes to finish.
