POLICE have added a new BMW Mini to their fleet of patrol cars in Oxford.
The response car will mainly be used by neighbourhood officers in the city, and was unveiled on the Thames Valley Police social media pages yesterday.
Almost 2,000 people have liked the post on Twitter and Facebook, with several saying they had already seen the marked vehicle on the roads.
One person commented: "Love it - great idea, especially for Oxford."

Its dog response units use Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles while BMW and Volvo models are used by the roads policing teams.
