Stadium pop band Snow Patrol have announced they are to play a show at Oxford’s New Theatre.

The group, who are more accustomed to playing arenas such as London’s O2, call in at the George Street venue on November 16, playing reimagined versions of songs from their back catalogue as well as new tunes from their upcoming Reworked album.

The Oxford show is among their most intimate dates. The tour starts at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff and concludes at the Royal Albert Hall.

Tickets go on sale at 10am today from ticketmaster.co.uk.

Fans can also get hold of early tickets by pre-ordering the Reworked album, which includes three new songs as well as 13 re-envisioned tunes and celebrates Snow Patrol's 25th anniversary as a band.

Snow Patrol’s Reworked EP1 is also available now via Polydor Records.

The EP includes rearranged versions of Crack The Shutters, Chocolate and Open Your Eyes, as well as the previously released new song Time Won’t Go Slowly.
