TRAVELLERS remained at a recreation ground at least 24 hours after being asked to leave.
Four caravans were still at Burford Recreation Ground when Oxfordshire County Council visited this morning, despite being told to leave by midday yesterday.
A council spokesperson confirmed one vehicle was 'preparing to leave' during today's visit, while the other three vehicles are 'anticipated' to have left by tomorrow.
