It comes after a man, who said he was one of three passengers in one car and has asked not to be named, claimed he sustained a head injury after the oncoming vehicle 'threw' their car onto the pavement.
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed it received a 999 call at 4.08pm yesterday and sent two ambulances to the scene.
The patients were taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital for 'further treatment and assessment'.
Pictures of the scene showed both police and firefighters in attendance, while one car's front was completely mangled.
