Previously we reported on an appeal from the same charity for a groom with terminal cancer who was getting married in Lymm.

Patricia Harrison, founder, said she was delighted with the response and thanked everyone who had helped.

The wedding has now been planned after a number of thoughtful offers of help with only a barber and swing band still needing to be arranged ahead of the wedding on September 6 but the charity is confident they will be sorted in time.
