A NEW car park is set to be created in the centre of Wallingford.
Oxfordshire County Council has officially lodged plans to create the 64-space parking area in a field west of St George's Road and north of Millington Road opposite the Bull Croft park.
The car park will have 43 spaces formally laid-out in paved areas with an overflow 'grass-protected area' providing the additional 21 spaces.
The work will include creating a new entrance to the site. Members of public can see the plans at southoxon.gov.uk using application reference code P19/S2569/CC
