A SYMBOLIC baton created in memory of a talented hockey player visited Oxford in the latest leg of its tour of the country.
'Tom's Baton' visited the Churchill Hospital and Oxford University's Magdalen College yesterday, as part of its journey to the World Transplant Games in the North East.
The sculpted baton, held by two bronze hands, remembers Tom Wilson, who died aged 22 in December 2015 in a freak accident.

As well as Oxford, the route stops off at other transplant centres in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
The World Transplant Games runs from Saturday until next Friday and features 2,500 participants who benefitted from organ donation.
