A KNIFE and used needles were found by police in Oxford city centre this weekend after officers scoured areas residents had reported as drug hotspots.
In a post of the Thames Valley Police Oxford Facebook page, the force said on Sunday they had found a needle and a knife in Butterwyke Place, near Oxford Crown Court.
A used syringe was also discovered in the green area behind Trinity Street, just off Friars Wharf, which is opposite Westgate, as well as two used syringes at the Isis Lock.
The post added: “Thanks to everyone who raised concerns, we can’t do this without you.”
