EDDIE Pepperell produced another solid display at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open.
The Abingdon golfer, who started his second round on four-under, shot a second successive round of 67 at North Berwick.
Pepperell, who started at the tenth, made a slow start, however, with pars at his opening six holes before a bogey at the next.
He immediately pulled the shot back with a birdie at the eighth, to finish his opening nine holes on level par.
However, he then moved up a gear to climb up the leaderboard.
A birdie at the first hole was followed up by another at the third.
Pepperell, ranked 32nd in the world, then produced some great golf to pick up back-to-back shots on the sixth and seventh, taking him to eight-under.
He then parred the final two holes.
