PUPILS from Oxford Spires Academy will take part in a showcase event at Blackwell’s Bookshop.
Last year poets from the school in Glanville Road published their work in England: Poems from a School, guided by the school’s writer-in-residence Kate Clanchy, and are regularly featured on national TV and radio.
READ AGAIN: Prince of Wales awards Oxford poet Kate Clanchy MBEOn Thursday, July 18, at 4pm in the bookstore’s Norrington Room, pupils aged 11 to 18 will read their work.
The event is free to attend.
