SKY Smith and Katie Lane won gold medals as Berinsfield ABC made a successful trip to Ireland for the Monkstown International Box Cup.
Joel Pownceby also claimed a silver with Leon Pownceby and Anthony Ojewande picking up bronze medals as they returned from one of the biggest junior festivals with an impressive haul.
Smith made a flying start against Sydney Fitzgerald in her final, with her rival already on the end of a standing eight count before her corner threw the towel in.
Lane gradually got on top against Lilly Keogh, asserting her dominance in the second round.
After a standing eight count, the fight was soon stopped, giving Berinsfield a second gold.
Joel Pownceby began brightly in his fight against Isa Akran.
However, his rival took control in the second round and was given a unanimous points decision.
Berinsfield’s other two fighters claimed bronze.
Leon Pownceby, 14, was handed a tough draw, losing to the Irish champion on a split decision.
And Ojewande also drew the national champion in the 75kg category, his corner throwing in the towel in the second round.
