BOOKMAKER William Hill, which runs six shops in Oxfordshire, has said it could shut 700 stores nationwide.
It owns six branches across the county.
The company said it must review its shops after the government decided to cut the maximum stake on fixed-odds betting terminals to £2.

It currently runs 2,300 shops and has 12,500 employees – but it could lose 4,500 staff before the end of the year.
It runs branches in New Inn Hall Street and Templars Square in Oxford, in High Street in Abingdon and another in Broadway, Didcot. It has others in Market Place, Bicester and Broad Street, Banbury.
