SHOPLIFTING from the Westgate Centre has been reported to Thames Valley Police 47 times this year.
The figures have almost doubled since last year, when only 25 reports of shoplifting had been made to police in the same time period from January to April.
The data from Police.uk shows that in January 14 reports of shoplifting were made, in February eight reports, March 16 and April nine. It comes after we revealed an average of 70 per cent of crimes get dropped.
