ROBBERS threatened a group of men before stealing their cash, cards and phones in Blackbird Leys.

Three men were approached by the two robbers outside the Nisa Local Oxford Supermarket in Pegasus Road, who 'made threats' and demanded they hand over their cash and phones.

The victims were aged 24, 30 and 32, and were not harmed. 

The theft happened at about 11.05pm on Thursday, May 16, and police issued a CCTV appeal today.

Officers say the two men pictured could have crucial information about the investigation.

Case investigator Sophie Quainton, based at St Aldates police station, said: "I believe the two men pictured may have important information that can assist in this investigation.

"I appreciate the images are not of the highest quality, but I am hopeful that someone will recognise the two men.

"I am urging anybody who recognises either man to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190147538.

"Likewise, if you are either of these men, please get in touch with us."

Police did not specify the nature of the threats.
